Donegal then saw appeals for a penalty waved away when Conor Black was tripped in the box.In the second-half, Donegal’s dominance finally paid off and they took the lead from a corner when Carlos O’Reilly powered a header to the net.Donegal created plenty of other chances and had a goal disallowed five minute later. The decisive goal arrived via sub Finian O’Donnell, it was a great individual goal which O’Donnell buried low to the keepers left hand side. Assistant manager Mel O’Donnell told Donegal Daily, ” It is a very good result for us, and that leaves us on the brink of qualification to the All-Ireland semi final.“We’re delighted with the ways these boys prepare themselves and apply themselves every week.“They’re a credit to the County, and there a joy to work with.“We lost the All-Ireland Final last year to Waterford, so we’re hoping we can one better this year, but we still have an awful long way to go, but the signs are encouraging.SUPER DONEGAL U13 SCHOOLBOYS DEFEAT CAVAN/MONAGHAN IN EMPHATIC DISPLAY was last modified: February 15th, 2015 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:donegalnewsSchoolboyssoccerSportlast_img
