first_imgRanchi : A woman and her year-old daughter were killed after rampaging elephants destroyed their mud house early on Wednesday in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district, police said. A herd of elephants entered Uppada village on Tuesday night and started damaging property. Villagers alleged that Forest officials were informed about it but they did not help them. I managed to escape with one child but my wife Pano, 30, and one-year-old daughter Golu got buried in the house,” he said.
