Farmers in Donegal have stopped their pickets following a breakthrough in the long-running beef dispute.Dozens of farmers in Carrigans have been protesting over the last five days, since Monday, outside the Foyle Meats factory.Thousands of farmers in the Beef Plan Movement across Ireland had been picketing outside meat factories for 12 days in a dispute over prices. Last night, both sides agreed to suspend their protests and legal actions immediately.Talks will be held on Monday between both sides, after the intervention of Agriculture Minister Michael Creed.Meat Industry Ireland was threatening to take legal action to prevent further damage to the factories – 14 of which have closed.Eddie Punch, the general secretary of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers’ Association (ICSA), welcomed the news. Ghaziabad: A 16-year-old state level female kabaddi player was allegedly molested by her coach at an academy in Kavi Nagar area of Ghaziabad on Monday. Police have arrested the accused and he has been sent to jail on Tuesday.According to police, the arrested accused has been identified as Vijay Chaudhary (35), a native of Govindpuram area in Ghaziabad. Vijay is a coach at a kabaddi training academy in Sadarpur area in Ghaziabad. The victim had participated in several district as well as state level kabaddi championships. She was also selected for national school championship. He kissed her on her cheeks and hugged her tightly a couple of times. Somehow, the victim managed to flee from there and narrated the ordeal to her parents,” the victim said in her complaint. He also invited her to a restaurant and offered her money in return. However, the girl reported the matter to police on Monday evening and the accused was arrested. “Based on the complaint received, we have registered a case under section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 7/8 of Protection of Child Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) act against the accused Vijay Chaudhary. He has been arrested by police and has been sent to jail on Tuesday,” said Anil Kumar Shahi, Station House Officer of Kavi Nagar police station. Earlier in June, a dance teacher was arrested by police for allegedly molesting his 10-years-old student during dance coaching in Loni border area of Ghaziabad. However, when the girl started screaming, other students in the dance academy reached and the accused was later arrested by police.
