PETERSBURG, Fla.-Saturday, three former Utah football standouts will compete at the East-West Shrine Game Saturday at Tropicana Stadium at St. Petersburg, Fla.Those competing include quarterback Tyler Huntley, offensive lineman Darrin Paulo and defensive tackle John Penisini.Huntley, Paulo and Penisini arrived at St. Petersburg last weekend and had their measurements taken ahead of Monday practices.Friday afternoon, the trio, who will all compete for the West, will be part of a meet-and-greet. This is an opportunity for fans to meet them as well as coaches and the NFL Legend team captains for each team.This year, the captains are Willie McGinest, a 15-year veteran defensive end-linebacker with the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns and 14-year veteran guard Will Shields who spent the entirety of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.Shields is also a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame having been enshrined in 2015 at Canton, Ohio.Huntley, Paulo and Penisini are the 16th, 17th and 18th representatives in the East-West Shrine game of the Utes’ program in the Kyle Whittingham era.
