first_img123PrevNextStartStop The 18th Annual Walk for Jesus was held in Brundidge Saturday. The event was sponsored by the Concerned Christians of Brundidge. The main purpose of the annual Walk is to take Jesus out of the four walls of the church and out where everybody can experience Him. The Walk for Jesus began at New Jerusalem Church and followed a Main Street route. The Walk paused for a prayer service at Pike County High School and then dismissed to reconvene at Galloway Park. Activities got underway at Galloway Park around noon and included pastoral presentations, testimonials, music, games and food from the grill. A large number of Brundidge residents and several local churches participated in the daylong community event.
