first_imgA busier than normal weekend at Letterkenny General Hospital resulted in a number of people being treated on trolleys in corridors.Letterkenny General HospitalA number of patients were also left on trolleys in the treatment areas while general wards were also forced to cater for beds outside in the corridors.A source at the hospital told Donegal Daily that the hospital endured one of the busiest weekends for a number of months. “It was pretty hectic. There were a lot of patients being held on trolleys because there simply was not enough beds.“There were beds outside wards which I have not seen for a long, long time.
